Increasing Employee Engagement

The Management Journal’s semi-annual Employee Engagement Index reports that 60% of employees are not engaged, 15% are actively disengaged and only 25% are actively engaged at work.

Disengaged and not engaged employees affect loss of productivity and add to operational costs. They also affect team morale and performance.

Action Plan:
  1. Develop realistic Employee Engagement metrics.
  2. Select right managers that are able to actively engage their team.
  3. Coach and mentor managers (if needed) and hold them accountable for their employees' engagement.
