By the same token, if you pick out any motivation or inspiration book that gives guidance on success, the first thing they will say is that we need to love what we do, if we are looking to excel in it. This does not pertain only to professional work (though that is what I am hinting at here), but for any task we have to complete. If we resent doing something, then there is no way we will be putting forward our best. What is even worse is that we will not only be shutting out other team members with our negative countenance and complaints but also closing doors to innovation and opportunities.
Hopefully you love what you do and if not- then, are you ready for a change? If yes, then great- what are the steps you need to take to make it a reality and if no, then why not? What is holding you back? How can you address those items?
Doing this exercise will help you to bring any under the surface dis-satisfaction to light and then you will feel more equipped to strategically address each aspect with courage and planning.
Something to think about as you start a new week. Happy Monday everyone and wishing all a wonderful week ahead…
