How I started reviewing books...
When people first meet me, and come to know about my varied interests and several different very profitable ventures, they are amazed at the breadth of my expertise and they want to know how I have managed to do all of it. I am not speaking about memorized facts- well, that is something we can easily look up in myriad of reference sources, I mean real knowledge on varied topics and how all those ideas and concepts co-relate to create our typical complex multi-dimensional environment- in business, in organizations and in our world at large.
I am constantly asked as to how I continue to keep abreast of all the new information that keeps spewing up in our rapidly changing, information over-weight world. A world where we seem to be constantly bombarded by changing facts and rapid innovation. Where “change is the only constant” in any user’s experience. And this is not just about our rapidly changing technology-paradigm. Though of course the speed of change and total metamorphosis of our IT industry has definitely been of dizzying proportions in its speed and magnitude. |
Coming in 2019... |
It is said that continuous learning is very key for being well-versed in one’s own subject of expertise. That surely has been the case with me. Reading and keeping abreast of our industry’s changing manifesto has been very important for my success. It has also paved way for lateral and vertical expansion of my horizons and experiences. Probably therefore I have a personal library of over 3000 books and it seems to be growing by at least a book or two every couple of weeks!
All leaders, innovators, and those that need to come up with new and innovative ways to revise and many a times revitalize their businesses and organizations have always been well-read people. Reading connects us to experiences and information, which in turn stimulates our own growth and thought process.
These books in my growing personal library are on a vast number of topics right from business, leadership, investing and so on to health and wellness and even arts and crafts. I felt that it will be helpful to my visitors to read my review perspective on some of these books.
Do please keep in mind, that the information and feedback I provide here is my personal perspective on any particular book and have been stated in the spirit of free, open and honest speech and communication. The intension is to simply provide my thoughts on the helpfulness or utility of these books without any intension of malice! As much as possible my intension is to keep the content and tone always within the parameters of constructive criticism. But in those instances where I truly feel that a book does not deliver what it promises or is simply made up of fluff and bloat without true substance or merit; then I do make it a point to say so; since that is what makes an honest personal user review.

Special Note to Authors/ Publishers
